Your Inspection

What to Expect From Your Inspection

Whether or not you are a first-time home buyer, anticipation of the home inspection can be unnerving. At Riverside Home & Septic Inspection, we understand this. From the moment you contact us, you will be provided with professional courtesy, answers to all of your questions, and detailed explanation of our services. You can expect quality performance, as we follow the Standards of Practice for home inspectors established by the State of New York and ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors), but more importantly because that’s our code of conduct and simply how it’s supposed to be.

Once we have completed the inspection of the home (we have a specific, comprehensive format that we follow), we will then go over the general conditions and systems of the home with both you and your agent. Items that require attention, whether immediate, down-the-road, or maintenance-related, will be pointed out. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. No need to keep track by scribbling down notes, everything we go over with you will be detailed in an easy-to-read report (HTML and/or PDF), with supporting comments and photos.
